Import and foreign currency export is not limited. Import and export of local currency is limited by the sum of 8 thousand Icelandic crones.

Duty-free import is resolved: to 2 l. Beer, to 1 l. Strong spirits, to 1 l. Fault, to 200 cigarettes or 200 units of a tissue paper or 250g. Tobacco, subjects and private use products, including a photo- and video equipment. Strong spirits can be imported only to the persons who have reached of 20-year-old age, wine and tobacco products - to persons is more senior 18 years.

Import of the weapon, the drugs, some medicines (without corresponding permissions of customs bodies), fresh vegetables and dairy products is forbidden. Import of medicines for a private use in the presence of the inquiry or the recipe from the attending physician, these preparations appointing reception is resolved.
