In hotels often make out bills in local currency or the Singapore dollars, but designate it usually uniform badge $ that calls mess. Therefore always it is necessary to specify, in what monetary unit this or that price list or the bill is issued.

Customs restrictions:

Import of local currency is unlimited, resolved export to BND 1000 or similar quantity of the Singapore dollars. Foreign currency import is not limited (the declaration is obligatory), export - within declared at entrance. It is forbidden to import Indian rupees.

For persons is more senior 17 years duty-free import is resolved: to 200 cigarettes, or 225g. Tobacco, or equivalent quantity of tobacco products, to 1 bottle (1,1) faults and similar quantity of strong alcoholic drinks, to 378 ml of perfumery from which no more than 60 ml can occupy spirits.

Import of drugs is forbidden, to a pornography, the goods, coins or banknotes of Israel, antiques (the permission is required), wild birds, animals and plants. Import and export of fire-arms and an ammunition should be made with the permission of local police administration. Export of subjects of the olden time made or found in territory of Brunei, is forbidden.
