Basically Moslems-Shiits - 93,4 %, various forms of Orthodoxy confess Georgian, Russian and Armenian minority.

From the country it is authorised to take out the personal things, handiworks and the goods bought in the country. Export of any antiques (including jewels, coins, manuscripts and other works of art) without the permission of corresponding bodies is forbidden. Transit of narcotic substances, the weapon and an ammunition (except for hunting on which the permission), the literature and the video data offending morals and a political system of the country stands out is forbidden.
