History of Somalia

Somalia it is known since Ancient Egypt, at that time the region was called as Punt. With II till VII century AD the territory of Somalia belonged to the Ethiopian kingdom Aksum. In VII century to region there have arrived Arabs-musulmai and have organised султанат Adele, existed to XVI century.
