History of Kazakhstan
The majority of legends name the founder of the Kazakh nation of Alasha. And though any historical evidences about existence of Alasha are absent, his name and these legends have played the important unifying role. According to archeological finds, in II-I thousands in territory of Kazakhstan lived BC the various nomadic people. The most ancient historical tribes concern east in the north and the Asian Scythians in the south. The first Kazakh state has been generated at khan Kasyme (years of board 1511-1523). At Hak-Nazare (1538-1580) in areas roaming from place to place various groups of tribes were generated the Senior zhuz (Semirechie), Average zhuz (the Central Kazakhstan) and Younger zhuz (the Western Kazakhstan); everyone zhuz had a clan structure, and their khans became in due course independent governors. Despite it, Kazakhs remained the uniform people. The unity periods alternated interstine conflicts. In the beginning 18 century the Kazakh khanates have undergone to invasion äæóíãàð — the Mongolian tribes occupying area between Tjan-Shanem and Altai. Kazakhs have been ruined, mass resettlements have begun. In this situation the Kazakh khans have addressed for the help to Russia which had in region system of defensive works. In 1731 khan Younger zhuz Abulhajr has sworn on fidelity of Russia in exchange for the military help and protection.
