History of Italy

The so-called Roman question has arisen because of annexation of the Papal state by the government of Italy in 1870. On February, 11th 1929 management of Catholic church has entered into in the Lateransky palace of the agreement with the government of Italy about creation of the independent state-city Vatican and about settlement of its relations with Italy.
