History of Fidji
Since 1874 of Fidji were a colony of Great Britain and have received independence on October, 10th, 1970 as parliamentary republic. In 1987 has occurred two military coup d’etats under leadership of lieutenant colonel Rabuka, as a result of Fidji have been declared by presidential republic. Fidji is a member of the United Nations and IMF.
