History of Chad
Rock paintings show that during prehistoric times Chad was the densely populated country. By IX century the kingdom has been AD formed we Will sink, in XI century its governors have accepted Islam. In XVI century we Will sink has got under the power of the next kingdom to Born, during the same time in the south of modern Chad two have been formed sultanat Bagurmy and Uadaj. In the end of XIX century the country has got under the power of the Sudanese emperor of Slave Zubaira, and after his death in 1900 has passed to France. In 1910 Chad became a part of the French Equatorial Africa. On August, 11th, 1960 Chad has received independence. After that within almost 35 years in the country there is a civil war between the government and Muslim insurgents. Chad is a member of the United Nations, IMF, the CART, the Organizations of the African unity, associate with a member of EUROPEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY.
