History
Egyptian history is inseparable from the Nile. This great river meets the role of Egypt in the old religious, economic and social.
The combination of upper and lower Egypt around 3000 BC began the era of civilization, which today has become a subject of interest to researchers and history lovers.
From the moment when Narmer combined both parts into one empire, the history of Egypt can be divided into the following periods:

* 640-1517 Arab rule
* 1517-1882 Ottoman domination
* 1882-1952 British occupation
* Since 1952 an independent Egypt
