Police of El Salvador said on the prevention of bank robbery by two naked men. “We managed to stop a major robbery,” - said a police spokesman Wilfredo Avelenda.

As reported by BBC News, two men were digging a tunnel to the bank building in the capital San Salvador. According Avelenda, digging was carried from an abandoned house in a few days. But the robbers are out of luck, as the tunnel collapsed shortly before the cherished goal and fell asleep archeologists. When the diggers got out, they already there waiting for the police.

Investigators have studied the tunnel, said that the temperature inside the 75-meter tunnel was completely unbearable, because these days in the capital was very hot weather. That is why, say police, looters stripped naked.

Police announced the names of the criminals. They were 22-year-old Miguel Angel Krespin and 18-year-old Rafael Alberto Cerna. In the near future they will be formally charged in an attempted robbery of the bank.
