Economy of Croatia

In 3–6 centuries of a wave of barbarous tribes (ãóííû, îñòãîòû, âåñòãîòû, ëàíãîáàðäû, Slavs, avars), Roman provinces involved with riches, have intruded on territory of present Croatia. The first Croatian stateIn 6–7 centuries Slavs and avars have destroyed many cities in the west of Balkan p-ova. Then, during reign of Byzantian emperor Iraklija (rules in 610–641), two slavic groups of Croats and Serbs have occupied accordingly the western and central areas of the Balkans. They managed to create the new breeding unions, to impose the names of tribes to settlers-Slavs who have settled here earlier, and together with the predecessors to start to ñëàâÿíèçàöèè a considerable part of Pannonii and Dalmatia. However, when in 800 francs have won Croatia, Charles the Great recognised Croatian «êíåçåé» (princes) as the vassals and has appointed one of them êíåçåì Coastal area (Dalmatinsky Croatia), and another — areas Sava (Posavsky Croatia).
