El Salvador (Spanish: República de El Salvador, literally meaning “Republic of the Savior”; original name in Nahuatl was Cōzcatlān) is the smallest and also the most densely populated country in Central America. It borders the Pacific Ocean between Guatemala and Honduras. It lies on the Gulf of Fonseca, as do Honduras and Nicaragua further south.
It has a population of approximately 5.7 million people as of 2009 on 21,000 km2. The capital city of San Salvador is, by some distance, the largest city of the republic. In 2001 El Salvador dropped its own currency, the colón, and adopted the U.S. dollar instead. [5]

Police of El Salvador said on the prevention of bank robbery by two naked men. “We managed to stop a major robbery,” - said a police spokesman Wilfredo Avelenda.
As reported by BBC News, two men were digging a tunnel to the bank building in the capital San Salvador. According Avelenda, digging was carried from an abandoned house in a few days. After the police received reports of suspicious sounds, was coming from under the ground, guardians of order established surveillance of the area adjacent to the building of the bank.
